Tropicario (2008)

Opened in 2007, the Tropical Animal House Tropicario is a popular family attraction in the centre of Helsinki that lets visitors experience the world of snakes and lizards. Tropicario houses all of the main snake species in the world, as well as Europe’s largest collection of giant snakes. Visitors can also see giant lizards and the world’s most poisonous snakes. All animals live in spacious glass terrariums that recreate the natural habitats of each species, while making it easy for visitors to admire the reptiles. It is also easy to get around Tropicario, even with strollers, thanks to its wide corridors.
